More details (lots more details...) Inside Our 3,600 Sq. Ft. Home The upper level boasts OCEAN VIEWS from the main living areas (kitchen, dining, and living room) and primary en-suite bedroom. Two additional bedrooms with a second full bath are also on the upper level. The lower level has 2 bedrooms each with a private bath and a large bunk room. Additionally, the downstairs also boasts a large living room with smart tv, sectional couch and a large table for game nights (seats 10). Upper Level: Bedroom 1 – Primary Suite: King bed with OCEAN VIEW, private bathroom (shower & soaking tub), walk-in closet, and dedicated workspace. Bedroom 2: Queen bed with OCEAN VIEW. Bedroom 3: King bed. Lower Level: Bedroom 4: King bed with private bathroom and dedicated workspace. Bedroom 5: King bed with private bathroom and dedicated workspace. Bedroom 6 – Bunk Room: Three full beds (bottom) and three twin beds (top). A large deck overlooks the private swimming pool. After a day at the beach, rinse off at the foot wash station or enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower. If you’ve had a successful fishing trip, an outdoor sink is available for cleaning your catch. For added convenience, our home includes a laundry room with a washer/dryer and high-speed WiFi. Smart TVs are available in all bedrooms and living areas, so you can unwind with your favorite shows or sporting events. ***House Policies** - Linens are included (guests must bring their own beach towels). - A Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front entrance for security purposes. - No pets are permitted. This includes both guest pets and visiting pets. - Pool heating is available for an additional fee, which will be offered after booking. *****Pool Rules for Moonlit Dunes***** Before your arrival and to use the pool, you will need to read through and acknowledge the following Pool Rules before using the pool. 1. No Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk 2. Pool is 3.5ft to 6ft deep. 3. Inexperienced swimmers must use a life vest at all times around pool and pool area. 4. Young children must be supervised by an adult at all times. 5. NO DIVING anywhere in the pool. 6. Toddlers must wear swim diapers. 7. No animals in the pool at any time. 8. No glassware or bottles in or around pool. 9. Please be respectful of noise after 9pm. 10. No running or rough play in or around pool. 11. Please rinse off sand before entering pool. 12. Pool gates must be closed at all times. 13. Pool is for Moonlit Dunes guests only. 14. If the pool water goes below the filter it looks low, please use the hose provided by the pool to refill it due to splashing etc. 15. Concrete around pool may be slippery at times…please use caution. 16. Have fun and swim responsibly!

The word we hear most from our guests is "magical." The beach itself is expansive and due to a limited number (16) of public parking spots on The Point, it's never crowded - even during peak season! The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Animal lovers, be sure to keep an eye out as you can often see dolphins, pelicans feeding and sea turtle nests. Kite Surfers and surfers can often be seen at The Point too. A walk from the house onto the beach and around to the Sound side where one can view the bridge is less than 1 mile. The backyard/pool area is surrounded by trees providing privacy. A large deck with ocean views overlooks the pool and has a wonderful view of the ocean. If you sit quietly while on the deck or poolside, you can often observe a wide variety of birds, bunnies, deer and other animals. Fisherman love The Point's lack of crowds and it is widely know to be a great surf fishing spot. Also located on The Point of Emerald Isle are Ocean Oaks Park (children's playground) and Emerald Isle Woods Park (wooded park with a 9-hole disc-golf course, trails, a pier great for putting in kayaks to cruise the Sound and a picnic pavilion.)
